The Rose & Crown, known locally as “Rosie” is a village favourite, loved for its great food, friendly service, and cosy pub atmosphere. With an open fire, board games, and a dog-friendly welcome, it’s well worth booking in advance.
The Volunteer Inn is a friendly village pub with a large beer garden, traditional pub food, and a lively local atmosphere. Inside you’ll find a pool table, darts, and sport on the TV, plus a cosy lounge with a fire in cooler months. Dog-friendly and full of character, it’s a great spot for an easy pint after a walk.

The 3 Bus Route passes along the high street in Yealmpton, a 3min walk from the Cottage outside the Post Office. This runs from Plymouth to Kingsbridge.
